The UK is one of the most nature-depleted countries on Earth, with one in six species at risk of extinction. Over the past 40 years, more than 40% of UK species have declined in abundance. This why this year, we’re asking you to take part in Run For Nature to help save vulnerable UK wildlife like the hedgehog and support the work we do on our zoo estate and with communities across East Cheshire to ensure nature can survive and thrive.
